Search Committee Update

Words of wisdom from the Center for Congregational Health:
Healthy search processes start with intense self-study that produces clarity and focus for the search. If you think this is a step you cannot afford to take the time to do well, please think again. You must come to terms with your past, your present, and your honest hopes for the future…Expectations that are fuzzy or filled with archaic language trip up many a process. Integrating your search with your congregation’s vision and dream for its future is a must.
The Search Committee is meeting regularly and working to bring “clarity and focus” to the feedback from the listening sessions. We will be consulting further with groups in the parish as a whole as part of this effort. We thank you for your prayers.
Prayer for the Search Committee
Almighty God, giver of every good gift: Look graciously on your Church, and so guide the minds of those who shall choose a rector for this parish, that we may receive a faithful pastor, who will care for your people and equip us for our ministries; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
