Christ Church hosted two Colligate Challenge Teams during the week of March 10th-16th, 2013. The teams were from East Carolina University in North Carolina and Cazenovia College in New York. The teams came to Valdosta to work on a Habitat house. While they were with us, they slept on the floor of the Gabard Education Building. Due to the facilities within our building, this was the first time we were able to host a team.

The teams were grateful for the wonderful hospitality provided by Christ Church. Snacks were provided and there was a standing offer to wash their bath towels. We hosted a dinner Thursday evening and the students enjoyed a delicious meal of lasagna, salad, bread, and banana pudding. I would like to thank Julia Ariail for heading up the committee who made this week so special and for decorating the parish hall for the meal (those new chairs and carpet made it look so nice) and to Kim, our Parish Administrator, who coordinated the food. Thank you to all of you who prepared all the wonderful food for our dinner.

Once again, I am thankful to be part of a parish that is so gracious.
