On January 5, 2014, the homily for the 10:00 a.m. service was provided by our wonderful youth, in the form of our annual Epiphany Pageant. We began with the faithful cow (Noah Carroll) leading a somewhat lost — but very cute — elephant (Blake Yarborough) back to the stable to await the arrival of Mary (Sally Baker) and Joseph (George Tidmore). Next came our shepherds, John David Greneker and Maddie Yarborough, who were surprised by angels Sophia Bajalia and Eliza Jane May with the good news of Christ’s birth, news that filled them with such joy that they all ran to the stable. Finally, the Wise People (Fred Bajalia, John Nelson and Josie Tidmore) arrived — late as always — and fell to their knees to worship our newborn King!

Special thanks go to Karen May, Rena Nelson, Nikki Yarborough, Phyllis Hiers, Julia Ariail, Cecilia Carroll, Beth Baker and Jennifer Lawrence for their help!
