Recently several members of the Sigma Nu Fraternity devoted some of their community service hours to work on buildings at Christ Church. The contact with Sigma Nu was first made by our Director of Music, Angela Duncan, who let me know that they were looking for a project to add more hours to their existing community service total. I contacted their Community Service chairman and set up a work date. They decended on Christ Episcopal Church and worked nonstop for four hours. They pressure-washed Louttit Hall, painted the choir room, sanded the metal stair rails and painted a window in the parish hall. In gratitude for their hard work, we provided pizza and beverage. They look forward to returning for more community service work, and so do we.
