Dear Christ Church Family,
Thank you for the wonderful send off you gave to us as we prepare to work in a different corner of God’s amazing vineyard. Your generosity was overwhelming. When reflecting on our time at Christ Church, we will remember you with loving and grateful hearts.
We have spent the last eighteen years working together to accomplish the mission God has given us to do in our own midst, in our diocese, and the world. Christ Church is an amazing congregation and both Jim and I are proud to have been a part of this community. Thank you for allowing us into the intimate parts of your lives. Thank you for so many magnificent memories, they will remain with us always.
This is a time of new beginnings for all of us. I am proud of the hard work you have done over the last eighteen months. Your future looks bright, and though not a part of your future, I can’t wait to see how you will meet the challenges of worship, mission, and formation in the years to come.
My prayer for you is that you will continue to live into your baptismal covenant, remain hungry for the knowledge of his word, and remain responsive to the needs of those who are in need for food, shelter, education, and spiritual formation.
